英文：Guangxi,a beautiful and rich place,has a variety of customs and cultures.In my hometown,the most unforgettable is that unique Dragon Boat Festival.
Every year on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month,every household will be busy preparing items for the festival.Adults will pick fresh zongzi leaves in advance,wash and dry them,and then wrap them with glutinous rice,mung beans,red dates and other ingredients into a tight zongzi.The shapes of zongzi are different,there are triangular,rectangular,and like a small pillow.Wrapped zongzi will be put into the big pot steaming,the aroma is overflowing,let people mouthwatering.
Besides eating zongzi,we also hold dragon boat races.The villagers organized themselves to compete on the river with beautifully decorated dragon boats.Spectators on both sides of the river cheered and cheered for the contestants.After the competition,everyone will sit together,share home-made zongzi,and talk about the changes in their hometown and their vision for the future.
The Dragon Boat Festival is not only a traditional festival,but also a symbol of the unity and harmony of our Guangxi people.On this day,we feel the beauty of our hometown together and inherit the customs and culture of thousands of years.

每年农历五月初五，家家户户都会忙碌起来，准备过节的物品。大人们会提前采摘新鲜的粽叶，洗净晾干，然后用糯米、绿豆、红枣等食材包裹成一个个紧实的粽子。粽子的形状各异，有三角形的、有长方形的，还有像小枕头一样的。包裹好的粽子会被放进大锅里蒸煮，那香气四溢，让人垂涎欲滴。
除了吃粽子，我们还会举行龙舟比赛。村民们自发组织起来，划着装饰精美的龙舟，在江上竞技。江两岸，观众们欢呼雀跃，为参赛者加油助威。比赛结束后，大家会围坐在一起，分享自家制作的粽子，畅谈家乡的变化和未来的憧憬。
端午节不仅是一个传统节日，更是我们广西人民团结、和睦的象征。在这一天，我们共同感受家乡的美好，传承着千年的风俗文化。
