1.整体设计思路
本节课教学内容是外研版英语教材初二上册Module 4 Unit 2。本模块以交通运输方式为主题,结合实际生活描述和比较了几种现代交通运输工具,介绍了他们各自的优缺点,有助于培养学生在实际生活中解决问题的能力。Unit 2是一篇读写课,围绕What is the best way to travel from London to Amsterdam展开。教师把自己的旅行计划作为整节课的一个线索,让同学们帮助老师解决旅行中遇到的难题,创设一个真实的阅读情景,以此提高学生的阅读兴趣。在阅读中培养学生的阅读技巧,理解形容词和副词比较级﹑最高级的概念和用法。学会恰当地运用形容词和副词比较级﹑最高级写出与交通运输相关的句子,并最终写出完整的语篇,达到解决实际问题的能力。
2.教学目标分析
(1)知识目标
读懂有关旅游和交通运输工具的文章;
通过速读、精读,培养学生快速阅读抓住文章关键词,善于寻细节的阅读能力;
通过回答问题,培养学生的语言组织能力和口语表达能力;
④ 能够运用所学知识写出一篇完整的作文。

在有趣的话题激励下,在师生互动的活动中发挥“人文课堂”的优势,加强合作学习;拓展学生的思维,培养他们解决实际问题的能力。

教学重点:1.读懂有关旅游和交通工具的文章,并抓住文章细节;
          2.理解形容词和副词的比较级及最高级的用法。
教学难点:运用所学知识,对课文进行总结归纳,写出一篇完整的作文。

步骤1:Lead-in

2T: Before the class, I divided you into 4 groups, we will have some group works. Finally well choose one winner
T: OK, now I want to show my photos to share with you my travel experiences.
    S:
    T: These experiences are interesting and exciting. I like travelling very much. I plan to travel Amsterdam — the capital of Holland. Do you know Holland and Amsterdam?
      Holland is famous for tulips (郁金香), windmills(风车) and wooden shoes(木鞋). There is a windmill village in Amsterdam.
步骤2:Fast reading
(1) T: Firstly, I will go to London, then go to Amsterdam. But I have a problem. Lets listen to the tape, find what the problem is. (Listen to the first part of the text.)

T: Turn to Page 28, there is an article. Maybe the second part can give you some help.
(2)T: Read the passage and number the ways of travelling from the most expensive to
the least expensive. (Its a group work. I give each group 4 cards with coach, train, plane, car and ship written on them. Use the cards to number the ways of travelling. Each group has 4 students stand in a line with the cards in right order. )
