  We had a seven-day holiday for May Day. So my family and I went to climb Country Mountain.
  We went there by my father's car. It took about an hour. It was long and dull.
  At about nine o’clock, we began to climb the mountain. We enjoyed it and we didn't feel tired at all. We sang and chatted while we were climbing the mountain. When we got to the top of the mountain, we found ourselves sweating and out of breathe.
  We sat on the stones in the sunshine to have a rest. There were many pine trees around us. The grass was getting green; the wind was soft and fresh.
  Everything was so beautiful that all of us couldn't help shouting to the mountain loudly, “We love nature!”

  At two o’clock in the afternoon， we went to visit my grandma and grandpa。 I helped grandpa do some house work。 My sister and me played skateboard and doll。
  At eight o’clock in the evening， we went home， and played comr games for two hours and then went to bed。

五一小长假
  牡丹贵为花中之王，向来都是古往今来无数文人墨客笔下的宠儿。五一假日，我们一家人开车来到溧水去看牡丹花。一路上，从未见过牡丹花的我，兴奋之情无与伦比。
  虽然我有点晕车，但一下车，啊!眼前的景象让我惊呆了，满园的牡丹花争奇斗艳竞相开放着，像一个个硕大的圆球。你瞧!那牡丹有深红的，有淡红的，有大红的，有粉红的，有淡黄的，有绛紫的——看得我眼花缭乱，美不胜收。
  我走进花丛中，看!牡丹有的含苞欲放，有点展开了层层叠叠的花瓣，露出了黄的花蕊，有的还是花骨朵，看起来饱胀得马上要破裂似的。
  那朵朵牡丹长在肥沃的土壤里，沐浴着阳光，红的似火，白的像雪，粉的似霞——看着这满园的春，我仿佛幻化成花仙子在花丛中翩翩起舞，摆动着五彩缤纷的衣裳，一蜜蜂划着八字路飞过来，我就热烈的迎接它们，因为我知道“蜜蜂采蜜百花后，为谁辛苦为谁甜?”
  逛的有些累了，我们坐在牡丹园里的亭子中，欣赏那婀娜多姿、颇负盛名的牡丹仙子，我仿佛看到了“唯有牡丹真国，花开时节动京城”的喧闹场面。
  下午我们又驱车赶往江宁去看薰衣草，走进大门，放眼望去，漫山遍野的薰衣草和上午的牡丹园完全不同，到处都是纯纯的紫，如同一片紫的海洋，一阵微风吹过，紫的波浪随风起伏，淡淡的薰衣草香味沁人心脾。
  今天，真是让我大饱眼福，既看到了雍容华贵的牡丹，又看到了浪漫纯情的薰衣草，虽然身体有些不适，但我还是很开心。这真是痛并快乐的一天!

  我们沿着弯弯曲曲的大南山脚向左炮台进发。一路上绿树成荫，风景秀美，令人心旷神怡。到了入口，我们沿着石梯拾级而上，路旁有为林则徐而写的亲笔题词。
