贴合文章的视频吸引学生注意力 
Step 2.
Read two pictures.
 
Compare the two pictures and get detail information. Read the two pictures and answer teachers questions.
1. What is he doing?
2. What happened to his arm?
3. Would he keep on climbing or give up?
效仿学生常玩儿的大家来茬这种游戏,通过老师连环式的提问,引导学生猜测故事梗概,通过这个环节就可以大致了解整个故事,降低阅读难度,吸引学生为了核实自己的猜测而继续阅读,激发兴趣。

Careful Reading:
 
Answering the question relating to different paragraphs can get different scores.
1.Paragraph 1(5’):read para1 and finish the mind map.
2.2.Paragraph2(2’):read para2 and answer the following question.
Why is this day special for Aron?
At the beginning, what did Aron do?
Why did he think that someone would find him ?
What was the thing he did next?
Why did Aron choose to do something after his water ran out?
3.Paragraph3(4’):read para3 and answer the following question.
What did Aron do after he lost
his arm?
根据段落难度设定分值,学生回答不同的段落问题得到不同的分数,以此激发学生的积极性。每段的问题形式多样,不重复,以此保持学生兴趣。通过分段阅读,培养学生进行细节阅读的能力。

Retelling
The students retell Arons story to others.

Describe the topic.
 
 First listen to four sentences and take notes of what you hear.Then try to repeat sentences you hear.
文章理解完后的运用环节,采用了中考口语话题简述的方式,可以锻炼学生接触中考题型训练。并且进一步运用所学语言材料进行输出训练。

Culture
Try to describe students difficult situation. They are also between a rock and hard place. Try to lead them not to give up.
 情感提升中,与学生本身学习这个实际相连,引导学生在学习过程中遇到进退两难的境地,遇到很多困难,要学习阿伦的精神,坚持下去,永不放弃。

布置分层作业,照顾到不同层次的学生。
效果分析
基于先帮助学生深度解读图片信息,熟悉文章大概内容,帮助学生积累语言材料的设计,经过完成思维导图,深入思考问题,复述段落内容,话题简述等等形式的训练,学生可以比较顺利的组织出语言中,正确的表达自己。通过这节课的学习,大部分学生可以尝试运用语言表达自己想要表达的观点描述阿伦事故的梗概,达到了提高语言能力的目的。
但是在课堂当中也出现了一些问题,这样的设计对学生的要求较高,对有些学困生来说,听课难度较大学困生在课堂上的参与率就不高,需要再在课堂内容的分层设计上下功夫,争取照顾到各个层面的学生,让各个层面的学生在课堂上都能学有所得另外由于课堂时间限制,
不能让所有有准备的学生展示自己,这一节课的成果也是一个缺陷,在以后的课堂上会挫伤学生张嘴说大胆表达的积极性,在以后的课堂设计中应该改进。
